Ep. 12: Ritsuka encounters a mysterious code leading to a virtual world and faces a drugged nightmare.

Ritsuka and Yuiko visit Yayoi’s home to play video games, where Ritsuka discovers a code resembling one from The Seven Moons that points to a specific location within the game. After hours of gameplay, he reaches the target area but is secretly drugged and falls asleep. The drugs induce terrifying dreams where Yayoi, Yuiko, Ritsuka’s mother, and teacher are brutally murdered. Soubi appears in the vision, claiming he killed them under orders and attempts to kill Ritsuka. Ritsuka’s strong will to live breaks the spell, allowing him to wake up and immediately seek out Soubi. When Ritsuka asks if Soubi would kill him if Seimei ordered it, Soubi replies he would die first. Nearby, a man hinted to be Seimei observes, wondering whether Ritsuka’s will or the fate of the name Loveless will prevail.
