A man approaches Lupin on a rainy afternoon to assist a young woman, who is revealed to be Fujiko. She seeks a diamond called The Star of Kilimanjaro, which was surgically implanted into the chest of a mob boss. Although the boss had his memory wiped, he died days before the scheduled restoration. Consequently, Lupin and his team target the ambulance transporting the corpse containing the valuable stone. Inspector Zenigata oversees the ambulance and its escort, actively attempting to thwart Lupin’s efforts to steal the diamond from the moving vehicle.
