Ep. 7: Lupin III seeks to reclaim scrolls stolen by a swordsman who defeated his father.
Aired on December 5, 1971

Three scrolls hold the secret to forging a blade similar to Goemon’s Zantetsuken. Lupin aims to steal them to restore family pride, as his grandfather Arsene Lupin originally took them in the 19th century. Later, Lupin’s father acquired a dagger made using the same method from a swordsman. That swordsman challenged Lupin II to a duel and won, yet he managed to steal the scrolls for himself. Lupin now intends to retrieve them, but he must confront Goemon and Fujiko, who also have their own plans for acquiring the scrolls.
