Lupin and Baron Ukraine are both pursuing the world's most skilled counterfeiter. Although Lupin could easily defeat the Baron in a direct confrontation, the Baron has hired a man named Flinch to assist him. Additionally, the Baron has enlisted Fujiko's help and provided specific instructions for her to kill Lupin. This creates a dangerous situation where Lupin must navigate threats from both the Baron's hired assassin and his former ally, complicating his pursuit of the counterfeiter.
