Ep. 2: Speed escapes Ace's gang and wins the race despite interference.
Speed resumes the Sword Mountain Race, evading Ace Deucey and his gang by using the Mach 5's rotary saws to cut through terrain. Trixie provides aerial support with smoke flares, but her plane is damaged, forcing her to bail out. Duggery takes a dangerous shortcut toward a volcano, where he nearly falls into a crater. Speed follows, saving Duggery just as the rock gives way. They emerge to find Ace holding Trixie hostage. Spritle and Chim Chim distract the thugs by shooting rocks from the Mach 5's trunk. Speed and Duggery attack, allowing Ace to flee in the Mach 5. Speed pursues in Ace's car, but Ace cannot control the vehicle's special features, slowing it down. Speed leaps into the Mach 5, wrestles Ace, and throws him off a cliff. Speed wins the race, but the results are nullified due to Ace's interference.
