Ep. 4: Speed discovers the Masked Racer is his brother Rex Racer and wins the race
After Speed’s accident, the Masked Racer reveals himself as Speed’s older brother, Rex Racer. Speed tries on the mask but is knocked out by an intruder. Trixie and others flee when Spritle and Chim Chim hide in a trunk. At Wiley’s mansion, Speed is revealed as the Masked Racer while Fixer holds prisoners. Chim Chim escapes to find Trixie, but the Masked Racer rescues Speed and Spritle before the mansion burns. On race day, Spritle and Chim Chim sabotage Alpha Team’s car by switching drums, causing an explosion. The Masked Racer’s tire flattens, yet he continues on three wheels. A spectator blinds him with a mirror. With one lap left, Speed stops to help, but the Masked Racer orders him to continue. Speed wins the Trans-Country race, and Pops allows Speed to become a professional driver.
