A criminal hijacks the Mach 5 during the Monte Carlo Rally. Speed identifies the man as famous gambler Mr. Fastbucks but lacks proof. Upon confrontation, Mr. Fastbucks reveals his master plan: he has purchased coal and train companies and intends to destroy global gas supplies to become fabulously rich. However, the plan backfires, and it is Mr. Fastbucks who gets blown up instead.
