Lawson Lamster, a prison fugitive, encounters a young girl who is blind and unaware of his identity as her father. She trusts the stranger, not knowing his true background. Years prior, Lamster robbed a bank alongside a criminal gang. He is pursued by his former associates, specifically Stencher, who captures both Lamster and a companion named Speed at gunpoint to locate hidden funds. The pair manages to escape, triggering a violent confrontation. A fatal shootout and fire ensue, resulting in the defeat of Stencher and his gang. Lamster is severely injured during the conflict. As he nears death, he expresses a final wish for an operation to donate his eyes to his daughter, hoping to restore her vision.
