Musashi joins the Hell Game Challenge TV special and recruits Mai as his partner after she initially refuses due to Emi's appearance. Despite Mai's reluctance, she agrees following teasing from her family and Shou. Musashi faces significant pressure as he lacks athletic ability and the event is organized by his father's rival. He trains intensely, while Koganei attempts to influence the directors to assist his son. A competitor mocks Musashi and claims he will date Mai upon winning. The situation escalates when the competitor discovers staff assistance for Musashi, accusing him of cheating and threatening to withdraw. Upon learning of his father's interference, Musashi decides to forfeit the competition immediately.
