A strange young boy appears at a Magic Carat show, insisting on seeing Emi. Mai initially dismisses him, but encounters him again later that day when a magical mirror begins to sparkle, suggesting he may be a fairy. That night, the boy infiltrates the home shared by the troupe, Shou, and Mai's grandparents, searching for Emi without success. After he is discovered and a chase ensues, the boy explains that he requires Emi to place magic into a bottle. Mai agrees to his request, and the boy flees, vanishing in a cloud of sparkling light, which confirms his identity as a fairy.
