Ep. 6: Homura warns Madoka while Sayaka fights Kyouko and loses her Soul Gem
Homura knocks Sayaka unconscious and orders Kyouko to leave, then urges Madoka to abandon any involvement with Sayaka. Kyubey informs Sayaka about Madoka’s potential as a magical girl, but Sayaka refuses to let Madoka join. Homura warns Kyouko that Walpurgisnacht approaches in two weeks, leading them to form an alliance. Meanwhile, Sayaka ignores Madoka’s pleas and expresses hatred toward Homura for Mami’s death. Kyouko provokes Sayaka into a fight on a highway bridge the next evening. Madoka intervenes by throwing Sayaka’s Soul Gem off the bridge to stop the battle, causing Sayaka to collapse. Kyubey explains that the Soul Gem holds the magical girl’s soul, with the body acting as a shell controlled only within 100 metres. Homura retrieves the gem and revives Sayaka.
