Kogoro investigates a fake kidnapping in the Red Sheep Game while Conan and Ran spot a red sheep in disguise. They discover the body of Tetsuzaburo Wakabayashi, owner of La Mucho, and visit the restaurant to question staff including Ami Takigawa, Ryota Beppu, Kokichi Mukai, Daiki Kamio, and Motojiro Hirasawa. A video shows a red sheep escaping a couple two weeks prior. Police find a threatening email on Wakabayashi’s computer demanding 50 million yen for a hostage named Henri. Conan and friends interview Hideto Iwami, president of a stuffed animal rental company, to identify the person who rented the red sheep costume.
