Ep. 265: Kisaki and Kogoro clash in court as Conan uncovers the truth behind the murder.

Conan reveals that Reiko manipulated Eri’s past with Kogoro to use him as an ally. Kameda admits to altering Kogoro’s phone time, which destroyed Shinji’s alibi and secured Reiko’s victory. This prompts Kogoro to pursue his own investigation. Conan re-examines the Hiwasawa murder case and finds that a baby octopus was found in the victim’s stomach. During the second hearing, Conan tranquilizes Kogoro to present this evidence. Since the octopus is only served at Kameda’s bar, it places her near the crime scene. Conan explains that Kameda killed Hiwasawa with a metal pipe at the construction site. Shinji witnessed the act and left his keys there to incriminate himself. Kameda confesses, stating she sought revenge for her son. Afterward, Eri invites Kogoro to dinner, but he ignores her, distracted by another woman.
