Ep. 269: Hideo Morita seeks help to find his late wife's lost watch, leading to a murder investigation.

Hideo Morita asks Kogoro to locate his deceased wife's missing watch, but the Detective Boys and Dr. Agasa assist instead. They discover a room filled with movie tapes and equipment at Hideo's home. Neighbor Eiko Idetsuki arrives to demand repayment of a loan. After Hideo makes a partial payment and shows her a desired film tape, she enters the audio room. The children provide lunch and find the watch in the washing machine. A loud noise reveals Idetsuki dead, her skull crushed by a flower vase, as someone flees. Hideo has an alibi, yet Conan suspects his involvement. Meanwhile, Takagi informs Conan that police documents regarding Kogoro's cases were stolen and returned by mail, coinciding with the hijacked bus incident witness questioning. Conan suspects Professor Jodie, Dr. Araide, and Shuichi Akai.
