Ep. 29: Detective Conan investigates a CEO's death linked to computer-controlled thermal shock
Aired on August 19, 1996Filler

29
Okida, a software CEO, dies of a heart attack, but Conan suspects foul play due to excessive sweating and wilted flowers. The driver, Tokito, holds a motive after Okida humiliated him regarding a former company. Conan deduces that thermal shock caused the death, evidenced by solidified chocolates and dead flora. He uses a voice-changing bow-tie to have Kogoro and Inspector Megure visit Tokito’s home, where Conan drops hints to expose the driver. Evidence that Tokito took Okida’s cat home leads to a confession that he hacked the house’s temperature control system to commit the murder.
