Jirokichi Suzuki receives a suspicious letter from Kaitou Kid claiming he will open the Iron Tanuki safe. The writing style differs from Kid’s norm, suggesting an imposter. Sonoko invites Ran, Kogoro, and Conan to the residence. After inspecting the security, a standard Kaitou Kid card appears, confirming the thief’s intent. Conan suspects one of the three new workers is the culprit. Jirokichi insists an imposter is responsible, leading Conan to suspect Jirokichi himself is Kaitou Kid.
