Sep 2, 2017Conan, the detective boys, and Professor Agasa visit Gifu Station to mark the 450th anniversary of General Oda Nobunaga’s entry into Gifu Castle. While sightseeing, Mitsuhiko and others watch a local hero group called Nobuna Gaizers. After the performance, Mitsuhiko returns alone to obtain signatures but goes missing. Police are contacted, revealing that the Nobuna Gaizers have also disappeared. Simultaneously, a miniature solid gold Oda Nobunaga Statue, a golden tile, and ancient manuscripts are stolen from the Gifu City History Museum. CCTV footage identifies the Nobuna Gaizers as the perpetrators of the robbery. Conan begins his investigation into these connected incidents.

Sep 9, 2017Azusa suspects a doppelganger after a concert hall incident. Heiji receives a letter from Yadori village mayor Densuke Takekuma regarding Takugawa hidden treasure. Heiji plans to confess to Kazuha at Kurogane Lake, so Conan and his crew accompany him. Densuke takes them to a declined hotel where a cave-in killed miner Charles Abel. The group meets reporter Hajime Tsurumi, author Fumie Masuko, historian Yasukatsu Someji, and archeologist Michiki Tanzawa. They discuss Charles’s final moments, where he wrote nue before dying. Densuke hopes to revive the town through a treasure hunt recording. A nue appears in fire flames, leaving a torn sign. Conan and Heiji chase it, finding blood in the forest. They discover Someji dead with violent slashes on his back.

Sep 16, 2017Heiji Hattori investigates the brutal murder of documentary reporter Someji after Kogoro Mouri and Shinichi Kudo are unavailable. The suspect pool includes archaeologist Tanzawa Michiki, art graduate Masuko Fumie, and reporter Hajime. Tanzawa is found dead from poison with two sting marks under his chin, coinciding with a nue scream and a mysterious water drop witnessed by Densuke. Inspector Sango Yokomizo of the Shizuoka Police secures the area with the Self Defense Force. Fumie denies involvement, and Hajime is considered too distant from the crime scene to be responsible for the killings.

Fumie Masuko is identified as the killer, motivated by her husband Charles’s death after he found a metal hairpin. Miscommunication over the word n-u-e led to the tragedy. Hajime Tsurumi is revealed to be Masuko’s son, though she denies it. Heiji takes Kazuha to Kurogane Lake, where the morning sun reveals the poem’s true meaning regarding the lake’s beauty. Just as he is about to confess, the Self Defense Force arrives to capture the Nue. Ooka Momiji makes her first appearance at the end.

After discovering rice powder near the body, Kogoro is tranquilized. Conan reveals Masako Fukuhara as the true killer. She stabbed Eikyo after realizing Junko’s scare tactic failed, framing Junko instead. Masako confesses, citing Eikyo’s cruel treatment of her family as her motive. She expresses relief at his death and laughs maniacally upon arrest.

The bomber reveals the game continues, instructing them to deliver the final bomb to the middle of 7. The group remains uncertain about the meaning of this final clue.

Dec 23, 2017Wada Shinichi recites the One Hundred Poems by One Hundred Poets to assist Conan and Heiji in solving the case. Meanwhile, Kazuha and Ran visit a light illumination event. Feeling lonely without Heiji, Kazuha is cheered up when Ran pretends to be him to confess her feelings. Kazuha appreciates Ran’s kindness. Although the mystery is resolved, Heiji misses his chance to confess to Kazuha because they must rush to catch their train home. Detective Takagi notes that Wada Shinichi has vanished. Ran suggests the name might be fake, referencing Watson’s Japanese name from the Meiji Era. It is revealed that Wada Shinichi is actually Iori Muga, the family butler for Otsuka Momiji.
