Ep. 2: Marika Learns Gun Skills While Defending Odette II From Hackers

Chiaki informs Marika that various organizations sent men to test her acceptance of the Bentenmaru captaincy. Ririka apologizes for concealing Gonzaemon’s connection to space pirates while teaching Marika to use firearms in a junkyard, explaining the authority of a pirate captain. The following day, Kane assumes the role of adviser for the space yacht club, guiding them to the docking station housing the Odette II. He instructs the group to inspect the vessel and activate its systems. Later, Marika and Chiaki are alone on the Odette II when they detect a nearby ship attempting to hack its network. Marika chooses to assist Chiaki in countering the intrusion, actively defending the ship against the cyberattack.
