Ep. 6: Marika begins her privateer duties after receiving her license and training on the Bentenmaru.

Marika’s vacation with Mami Endou is interrupted when Misa takes her to obtain a government letter of marque. Upon receiving her privateer license, Marika unexpectedly assumes the role of captain aboard the Bentenmaru. The bridge crew instructs her on space pirate skills and battle expectations, with Chiaki later joining the training. Misa clarifies that space pirates function as military units since the War of Independence but cannot engage in piracy during peacetime. Instead, they earn income by entertaining guests on space cruises through simulated boarding and robbery. For her first raid, the Bentenmaru targets the cruise ship Princess Apricot. Marika announces her arrival and demands valuables, prompting Kane, who had infiltrated the ship as a guest, to challenge her to a duel. Marika wins by shooting Kane, who performs a dramatic fake death, leading the guests to surrender their accessories. Exhausted, Marika falls asleep after her successful raid. Meanwhile, Chiaki returns to the Barbaroosa without informing Marika that she is resuming her studies at her old school the following semester, despite having enjoyed her time with Marika.
