Chouno Harumi, who has dissociative identity disorder, tries to suppress her prostitute alter ego, Maria, by leaving answering machine messages for each other. As a colleague at Jiai University proposes marriage, Harumi accepts but fears discovery. She attempts to discard Maria's work clothes but transforms into Maria upon reaching the dump. Her psychiatrist advises her to confess to her fiancé, while her student Yuuichi, whom she tutors, notes she needs medical help more than he does. The conflict escalates when her personalities clash, manifesting as Harumi pulling her own hair in the street at night, until Lil' Slugger intervenes.
