Ep. 4: Corrupt officer Masami Hirukawa turns to crime after failing to pay Yakuza debts

Low-level police officer Masami Hirukawa accepts bribes from a local Yakuza group, including cash and his favorite prostitute Maria, to buy a home for his family. When he defaults on payments, the Yakuza send Makabe to collect, forcing Masami to agree to a loan with exorbitant interest. Desperate and stressed, Masami begins robbing vulnerable people while developing a drug addiction. While walking alone at night, he cries out for someone to stop his downward spiral. He is suddenly attacked by Lil' Slugger, but unlike previous victims, Masami resists and chases the attacker. He successfully arrests Lil' Slugger, who is then taken into custody for questioning by Ikari and Maniwa.
