Ep. 8: Hikari and friends search for a gift for Akari while Chisaki reveals feelings.

Hikari and Akari relocate to Itaru’s residence, where he vows to secure approval from Akari’s father and the Shioshishio clan for their relationship. Miuna requests Hikari’s assistance in finding a gift for Akari, prompting him to invite his friends to join the shopping trip in the city. At the station, they meet Tsumugu, who guides them through various stores to find an affordable necklace. An elevator incident leaves Chisaki and Hikari alone, allowing Chisaki to discuss Hikari’s emotions regarding Manaka, to which Hikari responds that he would respect her choice to be with Tsumugu. After Miuna learns her chosen necklace is sold out, the group decides to gather shells to craft a replacement. Upon presenting the gift, saline snow begins to fall, a phenomenon Hikari notes typically occurs only underwater.
