Miuna and Sayu ask Hikari to sabotage Akari and Itaru, but he refuses due to his principles. In home economics, Manaka attempts to bond with classmates by sharing food, but they reject her, causing a mess. Sayu is the true culprit, acting out of resentment toward Hikari. Miuna scolds Sayu, and later, Hikari and Manaka save Itaru from drowning, discovering Miuna’s mother originated from Shioshishio. Akari explains to Uroko that she cared for Miuna and her father after her mother’s death but gave up due to rejection. Hikari apologizes to the boys he wrongly blamed, while Manaka supports him, leaving Chisaki feeling sidelined and sad.
