Ep. 120: Kakashi Chronicles Part 2 details Obito's sacrifice and Kakashi's new Sharingan after rescuing Rin from the Hidden Stone.
Obito locates Rin but is attacked by Taiseki until Kakashi arrives, losing his left eye to save him. Obito defeats Taiseki with his awakened Sharingan, but the cave collapses during their escape. Obito pushes Kakashi out of the way of a falling rock, crushing his entire right side. Believing he is dying, Obito asks Rin to transplant his left eye into Kakashi’s socket. He tells Kakashi to protect Rin before succumbing to his injuries. Kakashi emerges from the rubble and uses a perfected Chidori to kill Kakko. More Hidden Stone ninja arrive, causing further collapse, and Kakashi and Rin are forced to leave Obito behind. Saved by Minato, the surviving Team Minato members mourn Obito before completing their mission to destroy the Kannabi Bridge.
