On Mt. Katsurugi, the bandit leader listens to Tonbei, Hotaru, Utakata, and Team 7. Tonbei proposes removing the Forbidden Jutsu from Hotaru for her safety, but she suggests searching for Shiranami, another user. Naruto departs to find him, revealing the bandit leader is Shiranami. Utakata leaves to speak with Tsurugi, while Tsurugi and the Anbu encounter a dog with Rinnegan eyes. This segment is part of the Six-Tails Unleashed arc.
