Naruto is captured by bandits at Shiranami's cabin until Utakata arrives, using Tailed Beast chakra to drive them away after finding Hotaru's note. Meanwhile, Shiranami captures Hotaru and brings her to the Tsuchigumo village, where he controls her and the residents to unseal a Forbidden Jutsu. Naruto and Utakata track the pair to the village but are attacked by the villagers and bandits, who stall them until Team 7 arrives. This event occurs during the Six-Tails Unleashed arc, specifically part 6 of 8.
