Hidden Mist ANBU members and Yamato discuss the situation, revealing that Utakata is a Jinchuriki. It is agreed that Utakata will accompany the Hidden Leaf ninja until their current mission concludes, after which the Mist ANBU will retrieve him. Utakata clarifies that he did not intend to kill his master; the tailed beast emerged while they were attempting to separate it, resulting in his master's death. Meanwhile, Hotaru suffers an injury, prompting Naruto to discover that a forbidden jutsu is engraved on her back. This segment is part of the Six-Tails Unleashed arc.
