Hotaru weeps, convinced she killed Naruto and Utakata, but they survive and move. Team 7 defeats the bandits they encounter. Hotaru’s body begins overflowing with natural chakra, prompting Shiranami to attempt escape, only to be defeated by Naruto. Utakata then employs his beast to consume the excess energy and halt the chakra flow. Team 7 departs, allowing Hotaru and Utakata to begin their journey together. However, Utakata is ambushed and defeated by Pain. Using his remaining strength, he blows bubbles to convey a message to Hotaru to continue living. This event concludes the Six-Tails Unleashed arc, marked as episode 8 of 8.
