Shiranami traps Hotaru with a binding jutsu, claiming she is merely a vessel for natural chakra energy needed to unleash the technique. Although Utakata and Naruto arrive to intervene, they are initially held back by Shiranami's binding jutsu before managing to free themselves. Meanwhile, Team 7 faces difficulties against bandits and villagers, preventing them from advancing. Eventually, Shiranami collects the necessary energy and successfully releases the Fury Jutsu. This event occurs during the Six-Tails Unleashed arc, specifically episode 7 out of 8.
