The Inuzuka and Aburame clans fight Pain’s Preta Path and Konan. Pain meets Tsunade, who identifies him as Yahiko. Meanwhile, Naruto learns of the crisis, but the Human Path finds him and kills Shizune, sending the information to Pain. Frustrated by Tsunade, Pain uses the Deva Path’s gravity manipulation to obliterate the village. A massive crater forms in the center of Konoha. Hearing Sakura Haruno’s cries, Naruto arrives in Sage Mode, accompanied by a large group of toads. This event is part of the Pain's Assault arc, specifically episode 11 out of 22. The narrative focuses on the destruction of the village and the subsequent return of the protagonist to counter the attack.
