Naruto and Yamato board an abandoned vessel that matches Yamato’s ghost story description. They meet Hishaku, a young cabin boy, who explains the ship’s eerie state as mundane despite his crew being slaughtered by a Skeleton Crab. When the giant monster attacks and captures Yamato, Naruto and Hishaku exploit its weakness to defeat it with a Rasengan. Hishaku reunites with the spirits of his crew and captain before disappearing. Naruto later discovers Hishaku had been dead for a long time, unable to move on until his crew was avenged.
