Black Zetsu locates the Feudal Lords' mansion and begins his assault, but is halted by Fifth Mizukage Mei Terumi and her squad. Sensing Naruto Uzumaki and Killer Bee, he relays this to Tobi, who appears on the coastline to summon the Gedo Statue. This distraction allows Tobi to acquire the Kohaku no Johei and the Benihisago to obtain Kinkaku and Ginkaku's Nine Tails chakra. As night falls, Kabuto recalls his reanimated ninja army. The shinobi forces recuperate from the first day of the conflict while evaluating their counterattack strategies during the Fourth Shinobi World War: Confrontation arc.
