Ep. 478: Naruto and Sasuke reconcile after losing arms and sharing painful childhood memories

Naruto and Sasuke experience flashbacks of their orphaned childhoods while believing they are dead. Sasuke reflects on his brother and the Uchiha massacre, while both awaken to find they have lost an arm. Sasuke questions Naruto’s persistence, leading to a discussion about their friendship and mutual pain. Sasuke admits jealousy and sees Naruto’s memories of Itachi, realizing he wants to return to his friends. Unable to move the next morning, Sasuke amuses himself at Naruto’s continued desire to fight before admitting defeat. He asks Naruto to use his Rinnegan to undo the Infinite Tsukuyomi after his death, but Naruto refuses, insisting Sasuke work with everyone else. Moved to tears, Sasuke accepts this. The blood from their amputated arms and ruined statue hands form the unison seal, symbolizing their reconciliation.
