Ep. 479: Naruto Uzumaki!!
Kakashi and Sakura arrive to heal Naruto and Sasuke, who apologizes to Sakura. The pair release the Infinite Tsukuyomi and Sasuke frees the tailed beasts. A mass funeral honors Neji and the war dead, establishing Naruto as an international hero. Sasuke faces imprisonment while the five Kage decide his fate. Gaara, the Raikage, and Killer B visit Naruto to offer congratulations. Kakashi is selected as the Sixth Hokage with Shikamaru as his assistant. At the Academy, Kakashi promotes Naruto to jonin, but he must complete two years of study since he never finished the Chunin Exams. Iruka cheers him up with ramen, recalling how he first accepted Naruto. Months later, Sasuke is pardoned and chooses to wander the Earth. He declines Sakura’s requests to wait for his artificial arm or accompany him, poking her forehead and promising to meet again. He returns his damaged forehead protector to Naruto, thanking him for teaching him the true meaning of being a ninja.
