Naruto undergoes training with Gamakichi and Gamatatsu, but Jiraiya secretly departs after receiving information regarding the Akatsuki. Upon waking, Naruto discovers a letter from Jiraiya instructing him to return to the Hidden Leaf Village to resume his training. After arriving home, he learns that neither Gamakichi nor Gamatatsu can utilize Water Style ninjutsu. Meanwhile, Tsunade receives one of Shino's crystalized insects for analysis. In a separate development, Rinji, an operative of Guren, discovers the location of Kakashi's team through a bat he had previously released. This segment is part of the Three-Tails' Appearance arc, dated 5/24.
