Ep. 15: Jormungand returns Amit's charm after a mission while Ilya protects a beast child from human captors.

Amit worries over Jormungand’s absence while defending citizens from rebels. Upon returning, Jormungand gives back Amit’s good luck charm, claiming he is unworthy after nearly becoming careless during his mission. Sariphi questions this decision, prompting Lante to challenge Jormungand to a duel, which he wins despite an injury Amit later treats. Meanwhile, in the human lands, Ilya rescues a child from beast kidnappers, only to discover the boy is a beast named Maalo. Maalo reveals humans hired the kidnappers to capture beasts for exhibitions. Though initially annoyed by Maalo’s attachment, Ilya is surprised by his human-like behavior and first encounter with flowers. When human knights demand Maalo, Ilya initially refuses to help but changes his mind after Maalo pleads for assistance, reminding Ilya of his sister. Recalling Sariphi’s words about beasts being like humans, Ilya escorts Maalo to the Ozmargo border. In Maasya, rebels plotting against the king are interrupted by news of conscription.
