Ep. 3: Sariphi’s Miasma Poisoning and Leonhart’s Promise of Protection

Sariphi struggles with her studies on Ozmargo, prompting Anubis to suggest a walk with Leonhart. They disguise themselves to mingle in town, but Sariphi collapses from miasma exposure, revealing her human form and causing panic. After fainting in the palace, she wakes in a human town cared for by a physician and his wife. The locals discover she was the intended sacrifice, destroy the clinic, and force the couple to expel her. Heartbroken, Sariphi wanders the woods until Leonhart finds her. He reveals a note promised he would return with a protective ring after acquiring it. They return home, where Sariphi compares the ring to a wedding ring.
