Ep. 7: Ilya’s Hatred for Beasts and Sariphi’s Compassion Amidst Conflict
Bennu assists Gwiber and Leonhart in tracking Sariphi by translating his speech. Ilya abducts Sariphi on horseback but faces an attack from hyena-men, whom he slaughters. When Ilya targets a child, Sariphi intervenes, prompting Ilya to confess his love and reveal his trauma regarding his mother and sister Misha, who were killed by beasts. He vows to exterminate all beasts. Leonhart arrives and engages Ilya, sustaining a gut wound while holding back. Sariphi’s distress over Leonhart’s injury causes Ilya to realize her genuine affection, ending the fight. Bennhe heals Leonhart, who promises to protect Sariphi. Bennu transports them to human territory for a farewell. Upon returning to the palace, the group celebrates Sariphi’s return with a garden party, excluding Anubis. Sariphi reflects on the enduring hatred between humans and beasts while acknowledging their current happiness.
