Ep. 7: Edison seeks Joe as sparring partner while Mac Rosario reflects on his past

Edison Liu trains for a bout against Mac Rosario but asks Joe to spar, believing fans still view him as Yuri’s student rather than a pro because he defeated Joe five years ago, not in his prime. Mac discusses his history as an ill-tempered boxer turned cop after paralysis, crediting CEO Ryugo Sakuma and ROSCO’s Brain Encoding System for his return. Joe visits Jimmy’s Gym to train with Edison, but Santa interrupts to film them. Edison vows to fight Joe seriously after Mac. On matchday, Joe and the children attend, though Sachio and Oicho are absent. Yukiko meets her brother Mikio. Mac approaches the ring and stares toward Joe.
