Following the defeat of Hagoromo Gitsune's subordinates, the combined armies of the Nura Clan and Keikain House advance on the enemy stronghold. There, they face Kidomaru, who utilizes the Ranjomon Gate to ensnare the group. Inside this trap, Kidomaru manages to overpower both Rikuo and Tsurara. To turn the tide, Kurotabo offers to link with Rikuo using Matoi. During their joint battle, Kurotabo instructs Rikuo on various techniques for employing Matoi effectively. This new knowledge empowers the duo to overcome Kidomaru and secure victory in the confrontation.
