Restaurant owners demand payment for meals Yamaoka bought on credit, prompting Kurita to lend him money in exchange for visiting an orphanage. Yamaoka enjoys time with the children but learns the facility faces eviction by the Yoto Group within a month. He arranges a meeting with Yoto president Moriguchi at the new Ginza Hotel opening, where he critiques the inferior frog legs used in the menu. Yamaoka offers to prepare a superior dish, inviting Moriguchi to Okaboshi restaurant to taste karaage made from torafugu heads. Impressed by the flavor, Moriguchi agrees to Yamaoka's request, allowing the orphanage director to learn that the institute can remain on the land rent-free.
