Ep. 86: The Nishio family overcomes marital distance to reconnect with their daughter Yoko.

Three months prior, Yamaoka and the Culture Department rescued teenager Yoko Nishio from harassment in Kabukicho. Yoko revealed that despite her father Yasukaza being a renowned architect and her mother Yoshiko running the Bisai Cooking School, her home life was unhappy. She invited Yamaoka and Kurita to dinner, where they observed that her parents lacked romantic love and showed little interest in each other’s careers or Yoko’s wellbeing. Yamaoka confronted the couple about this neglect. In the present, Mr. Nishio receives an architecture award, with Touzai management, including Yamaoka and Kurita, attending the ceremony. He notes that his winning apartment design incorporates dining and food preparation elements contributed by Yoshiko. Later, at a garden party at the Nishio residence, Yamaoka and Kurita encounter a happy Yoko. They realize that her parents have resolved their differences and are now actively involved in Yoko’s life.
