Yoshiko Morisawa asks Kurita to assist her boss, Tsutomu Yamawaki, founder of an Oharu gyoza restaurant chain. Yamawaki prepares traditional gyoza using a recipe from his late wife, Oharu, but faces competitive pressure and seeks menu updates. Yamaoka offers to create the ultimate gyoza for him. While tasting food at competitor Mr. Chikada's Ipponyari restaurant, which offers 100 types of gyoza, Yamaoka meets Kaibara, who proposes creating the supreme gyoza. Meanwhile, Chikada berates Yamawaki for attempting to steal his ideas.
