Ep. 10: Shūsuke encounters Ran Yatagai, who claims to be Princess Leila seeking a savior.
Shūsuke spots Ran Yatagai, a cosplayer calling herself Princess Leila, on a vending machine and later at school. She invites him and his friends to the rooftop, claiming she seeks a savior among the scum of the Earth to defend it. Shūsuke and his friends assume this is an initiation for an underground club. Nao and Iroha follow her and meet her twin sister, Rin, who explains Ran’s peculiar method for finding a partner. Rin scares off other AGE explorers, allowing Shūsuke to attend an awakening ceremony alone. However, Nao’s presence frightens him, causing him to flee with Ran, who decides he is her savior. Meanwhile, Rin shows romantic interest in Nao now that Ran is occupied. Reruns were cancelled due to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami because the episode features a scene where characters are swept away by an imaginary wave.
