Ash and his companions encounter the Kanto Fair, where a Charmander performance triggers memories of his former partner, Charizard. He shares his past with Iris, Cilan, and N, leading them to support a reunion. Professor Oak summons Charizard, who then encounters Iris' Dragonite. Following this meeting, the two trainers decide to engage in a friendly battle.
