After Harper and Sarah reveal that a Pokémon saved them from getting lost in the woods, Mallow recalls a similar event involving herself and Lana during their childhood. The two friends resolve to locate this Pokémon, which they call Grandpa Forest, to express their gratitude. Ash and Pikachu join the quest, eager for adventure. The group eventually identifies the creature as a Drampa and confirms their path by finding its preferred bittersweet Haban Berry trees. Following a minor confrontation with Team Rocket, Lana and Mallow successfully reunite with their old friend, celebrating the joyful conclusion to their search.
