During their journey through the Reflection Cave, Ash’s reflection separates from him and abducts Pikachu. This forces Ash to follow his counterpart into a parallel world within the mirror, while Clemont, Serena, and Bonnie remain behind to devise a method for his return. Upon entering the Mirror Dimension, Ash encounters his mirror self, who reveals that he also requires assistance in locating his missing Pikachu. The narrative focuses on the separation of the original Ash from his reflection and the subsequent efforts to reunite the group.
