Squishy fights Z-2 to break Team Flare's hold but becomes controlled. Clemont, Clembot, and Blaziken Mask confront Bryony and Aliana at Prism Tower while Bonnie seeks a cure. Serena, Sycamore, Mairin, and disguised Team Rocket attempt to rescue Chespie from Lysandre Labs. Lysandre tries to exploit Ash and Greninja’s Bond Phenomenon, but their connection with friends helps them resist. Ash breaks free and reunites with a remorseful Alain. Together, they prepare to face Team Flare’s leader Lysandre, having overcome the villain's underestimation of their bonds.
