Ep. 41: Kenshin reunites with master Seijuro Hiko, who trains him while Misao joins them.

Kenshin discovers his former master, Seijuro Hiko, residing as a potter near Kyoto. Hiko initially refuses to accept Kenshin back because he abandoned his training to join the revolution. Meanwhile, Yahiko and Kaoru locate Misao in Kyoto after she witnessed Kenshin’s departure. They meet Okina at an inn, which is disguised as the Oniwabanshuu headquarters, and she guides them to Hiko. Kenshin appears upset upon seeing Kaoru but clarifies that only half of him is angry. He agrees to undergo training, during which Misao’s connection to the Oniwabanshuu is revealed. Additionally, it becomes clear that she is unaware of the fate of Aoshi’s group in Edo.
