Following the identification of the traitor, the group of samurai disagrees on the appropriate course of action to take regarding him. Simultaneously, Katsushiro struggles to process the emotional impact of taking a life for the first time. Later in the episode, Kikuchiyo discloses a surprising secret that leads to his acceptance as the seventh and final member of the samurai group.
